Kev’s taken an unconventional route to being front main of several bands. Having moved from the sound and lighting desk for many years, Kev found a place on the Musical Theatre stage playing roles in High Society, Oklahoma, Summer Holiday (although he has a destain for Cliff Richard he’d like to add!!!).
From this Kev was thrust into a band for a one-off party, and has been fronting bands for 16 years.
Kev would always describe himself as a self confessed show off! Give him a stage and a mic and he’ll hold court, crack a few jokes and take you all on a journey. Kev is delighted to be in a "proper rock band" finally singing songs he grew up with.
Outside of the band, Kev runs a small Production Company while balancing a day job in Health & Safety.
Previous Bands: Hot Meat, The Apprentices, The Honey Riders, Alfies Sister, Kevin & The Kermits and High Voltage.

Dave also known as "Big Dave" started his career in music very late by most people's standards in his early 30's when his wife bought him his first ever guitar. Many months of suffering was endured by his wife as he attempted renditions of his favourite tunes! Dave started to become a very reasonable player and even opened his music shop in Minehead where in-between customers, he worked on honing his skill on the guitar practising every day. Dave hates guitar "widdlers" and in his words he would rather play 10 notes from the heart than 500 with no feeling! After a 16 year break from the guitar and now 65 he is back with a vengeance delivering his kicks and tricks once gain in THE CHOSEN FEW. Previous bands: Sods Law, Breach of The Peace, Cover Up, Vision, Apalache Nation Influences: Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake.

Originally starting out as a drummer, over a period of 25 years with hardly any break, Steve has played in a variety of bands ranging from traditional jazz through to blues and classic rock! Steve was inspired to learn guitar after hearing Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb and spent a short period as a solo performer; playing and singing to backing tracks of his own making. Since moving to Somerset in 2005 he has played drums and bass with well-respected local bands The Witchdoctors Blues band; Electric Landlady; Shakedown Ridge and Heat as well as a stint as 2nd lead guitarist with The Dissenters Blues Band. Realising that the time had come to hang up his sticks, Steve now concentrates on Bass duties with more than a touch of keys - welcome to The Chosen Few Steve!

Lee has playing playing drums since the tender age of 12 years old, hailing from 'up North! Unsurprisingly as well as rock and pop outfits, Lee also lists a brass band in his former outfits!
Having recently moved to Taunton to take over The Black Horse pub in town he admits to feeling lost since leaving his band days... but what is lost, has now very much been found and what a gem we have in Lee. Now very much part of The Chosen Few, Lee's looking forward to gigging in the South West and getting to know all the venues.
Having played gigs from back gardens to festivals for 20,000, Lee is looking forward to showing off his customised Premier drum kit with crashy things from Istanbul, Meini and Omelette with his Nova sticks and DW Pedals - like all of us, he enjoys adding kit!
Previously Lee spent over 20 years in the music business as an events organiser and sound engineer across the UK and Europe.

G'day mate!
Cripsy has supported The Chosen Few on a number of occasions as our deppin' drummer - we thought it only fitting to give him his own spotlight!
Genuinely one of the nicest people you could meet Cripsy is a native Aussie who in is own words calls The Chosen Few "the hardest rocking band" and that it's "an honour to share the stage with this incredible outfit" - we feel the same and are indebted to Chris for stepping in from time to time.
An experienced percussionist and drummer, you may see Chris in a few other outfits across the area including Blackout City!

Rockett (aka JR), JC, Jay, Crispin and Sonic are our supportive band of brothers often seen as our roadies on various gigs and festivals. A combination of sound and lighting engineers and experienced Stage Crew - these guys really stack up! The best in the biz! Plus get chatting to JC and he'll tell you a few stories of his time as roadie for Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore, Ozzy and many others! Sonic also provides transportation (Sonic Sound) and hosts our Website - and a quick thank you to our vocalist's company KSPS for providing PA and lighting when needed. They don't do it because it's hard work, they do it despite that! Rockers!
